If you produce this dark comedy with a surprise ending, the only thing Ian asks is that you send him a DVD of the finished short film. He is always curious to see how his writing is interpreted. The story is about a depressed woman who is about to take her life by jumping off a bridge. She is saved when anger trumps depression.
This short film, which takes about 6 minutes to shoot, has now been poduced twice, once in Toronto and again Los Angeles. It requires five actors and a bridge.

Raised in the Church of The Ultimate Complexity, John Cross believes that the ends almost always justify the means. He murders again and again from Paris to a small U.S. beach town. A hunted thief, he cleverly avoids capture to become a community leader. An annual beach volleyball tournament and a beautiful woman bring him to his day of reckoning.
